Sunday!

It’s kind of a lazy day. I did get a lot done yesterday, mainly out of pure frustration. I had to unbox those heavy damn ARCs that I still hadn’t unpacked and stuff envelopes to mail them out this week. But at those big ass boxes are off my desk now!

I figured out how I wanted to start Sweet Temptation. Starting for me is sometimes the hardest part. I’ll have the story in my head but am at a loss as to that jumping in point. Other times that’s ALL I know, is that opening scene and not much else. Trust me, no one wants in my head when it comes to writing a story.

Hubby is in the kitchen trying out a new recipe, and I’ve been feeding the washing machine all morning. I lead a very exciting life.

After lunch, we’re going into town to get my daughter all her stuff for softball. She starts a three day a week practice schedule this next week. That combined with middle son’s practice and tournament schedule is going to make for a very busy spring.

You did get quite a bit done. How old was your daughter when she started playing softball?

I so do not miss all the sport stuff my kids use to do. With 3 or 4 playing something every season and my husband and I working full time and a lot of times a part time job or two also, I never had a free minute. I couldn’t wait until the oldest was old enough to drive and help out! Now, a few of the grandkids play but I don’t have to do practices and all the games regardless of what my kids say. (They’re also trying to get me back coaching but I don’t think so!)

Anyway, you got all those books packaged up so you have an excuse for one break this week either to go to the post office or to print off shipping labels and let the post office know to pick them up.

    Have a great week.

    Terri

Brandy, she was seven. This is her third year to play (she’s nine)

Wow. My daughter shows no interest in sports. Which I’m sad about. I didn’t have the nerve to try out when I was younger and did the band geek stuff instead. She doesn’t even seem interested in that either.

Lazy days are necessary every once in a while, especially when the days before and after are busy.
