I’ve got my days and nights totally turned around. As a result I was up almost all night last night and this morning my ass is dragging. Usually my problem with insomnia is the result of my brain not shutting down at night when I go to bed. I can be bone tired but as soon as my head hits the pillow my brain starts churning. And it keeps it up until I either get up or just lay there and let it roll.
My doc prescribed me something to help me sleep and it was working really well but it gave me a headache every time I took it and I already have enough issues with headaches so I’m thinking the trade off isn’t really worth it. I’ll have to talk to him about it next time I see him.
On the bright side, I got some writing done last night/morning. Nathan and Julie are coming along quite well. As fun as they are, what I really wish is that I had a fast forward button to be through with January so I’d be done with the hellish deadlines of late and hubby and I would be on our way to Vegas :lol2:
I am so with you on not sleeping at night. I do the same thing. My husband is sawing logs by 9 so after my kids go to bed i normally do laundry or dishes and i read every night. If i decide to put the book down and try for sleep i lay there thinking of what’s happening in the next chapter until i get pissed enough to throw off the covers and grab the book. So…my bedtime is normally between 2 and 3 a.m. The only bad part about that is i have to be back up to get ready for work by 6:30. I think i’m getting used to no sleep now. I have to say so far i’ve only read Colters’ Woman but i was so hooked that after a couple months, i read it again. THen i was checking out your website and found Colters’ Wife and was so excited i read it on the spot. I just love that story. It is so well written. I could read it again..
Now i’m anxious to get Brazen and i read a couple other excerpts and just printed your list of books so i can mark them off as i get them, you totally have me hooked and i thank you.
Oh i forgot i read Seducing Simon too and i loved that one as well. I am totally sure i won’t stop til i have all your books :lol2:
