Wow I read a lot of fantastic books in 2012. Some from new authors and some from my favorites. A few I really enjoyed were On Dublin Street, Whispers in the Dark, Never Seduce a Scot, and a few Lucky Harbor books. I have many more that I’d love to mention but we’d be here all night.

Of course at the #1 spot is Echoes at Dawn! Ever since you gave us our first glimpse of Rio, I couldn’t wait to read his story. I tried picking up Shades of Gray today, but I guess my bookstore didn’t have it (yet) so I came home and ordered the entire KGI paperback series.
#2 Cindy Gerard’s Killing Time (though it was an ARC, I hope that counts).
#3 Donna Grant’s Midnight Master.

I made the bookstore find it since they didn’t have it out on the shelves yet. He not only found me a copy, but brought out a huge stack to put out on the shelves as well. Yay! There is no way to choose just one, but I think the one that affected me the most was Lover Reborn. The thought of moving on from your soul mate is an impossible concept for someone that has been with her’s for 32 years.
I’m strictly a romance reader and have read a lot of great books this year. That being said, I read Gone Girl (not romance) after hearing about it so much. I loved it! So dark and twisted. I couldn’t put it down. So that’s my #1 of the year. :)
I loved Shades of Gray and Whispers in the Dark,Jaci Burton Taking a Shot, Lora Leigh Stygians Honor,Jill Shalvis At Last. There are so many I would be here forever lol.

I can’t ever just pin down one favorite of anything…but I truly enjoyed your Highlander trio from this past year. I got it digitally in a three pack and it kept my mind off of my mom’s surgery over Thanksgiving, while I was stuck in the hospital with her for almost 20 hours. Nothing like sexy Highlanders to keep your mind off of more serious stuff in the real world…
I was introduced to a new indie author, Kristen Ashley. She rocked my socks this year.

I am enjoying S E Lund’s ‘Dominion’ series at the moment and have also enjoyed Jodi Ellen Malpas ‘This Man’, looking forward to the 2nd book in this trilogy. I have really enjoyed your ‘Colters Legacy’ and ‘Sweet’ series. Hope your New Year has been everything you could wish for. :)

2012 was a great reading year for me. I stumbled upon the KIG series and have been hooked on your books ever since. There is no way that I can narrow it down. I am trying to read everything that you have written and am eagerly waiting for all the new 2013 books to come out. Reading is one that that lets me escape from the world and reading your books let’s me transport myself into the book and somehow for a few hours that becomes my reality!! Thank you for being such an amazing author and I am itiching to get my hands on something new to read! :)
I did not get alot of reading done this year…its kinda been an “upside down not always in a good way kind of year” but “Found in Bliss” by Sophie Oak…I love that series and her Siren series…oh and her…fine all her books..
Still need to catch up on the KGI series…but not too far behind…and life is settling…so I will be back to my reading…

Discovered so many new authors this year…Shannon Stacey, Julie Ann Walker, J.D. Tyler, Lisa Marie Rice, Ellen Connor, Lori Foster, Catherine Mann, Lauren Dane and the list goes on! It makes the lag between new books from much loved authors bearable when you find someone new to read in the meantime.

Oh that’s a tough one I have read so many really good books but the one that kept me on the edge of my seat was Karolyn Cairns A Viking’s Love and one that brought me to tears was Jayne Rylon & Mari Carr’s Western Ties and a book that made me laugh a lot would be Dana Marie Bell Dare To Believe….I read about a book a day so that was a hard on to narrow down lol…
First books that I read were the Colters’ Legacy (loved them, can’t wait ’til the next one) Also I absolutley FELL in love with the Kelly/KGI Series. If I was not stuck in my current book, I would so be reading Shades of Grey

Well besides anything by Maya Banks, I recently devoured — and I mean DEVOURED — the “Fatal” series by Marie Force, and also loved Reflected in You by Sylvia Day, This Man by Jodi Ellen Malpas, and anything/everything by Beth Kery and Lisa Marie Rice.
My favorite read of 2012 was ICED by Karen Marie Moning. I’m obsessed with the Fever World & all things KMM!! It was a fantastic book full of sex, action, cool creatures, & smokin’ hot Alpha Males! I highly recommend the enitre FEVER series! Happy New Year Maya! YOU ROCK!!!
My favorite read of 2012 was Fearless by Eric Blehm. It’s the biography of Adam Brown – a real life flawed hero – and it was inspiring and humbling all at once. I highly recommend.
On the romance front, I loved Gone Country by Lorelei James, and Never Seduce a Scot by Maya Banks. There were a ton of others I read that were wonderful, some that were okay, and a few that were downright awful, but I rarely complain when I have my nose in a book!
I can’t wait for this series to start!!! I always tell folks that I worship at the altar that IS Maya Banks!!!!

I definitely can’t narrow it down to my favorite BOOK, but I can with my favorite SERIES. I loved the KGI series, but I also loved Kristen Ashley’s Rock Chick series, Dream Man series, and Colorado Mountain series.
Softly at Sunrise Maya Banks
I just found and read a few weeks ago, Into the Mist, Into the Lair, Golden Eyes, Amber Eyes. By Maya Banks I loved them. I would love to see more in this genre. I love paranormal. Then I went outside my usual zone and loved these young adult books as well. So wonderful. Who doesn’t love young love.

It is hard to pick a favorite out of all the books I’ve read this year. I loved Never Seduce a Scot, Once Burned, All Summer Long….nope, there’s just too many to pick a few. And as everyone else agrees, the KGI series is right up there among the favorites.

With that said Your Colter series, Lauren Dane (DeLaVegaCats, Joyee Flynn (Beyond the Marious Brothers), Eve Langlais (Frekin’ series). There are many many more. What can I say, I LOVE to read.

Other than your lovely selfs books, I have to say my other favourite that I have to read over and over is Lora Leigh’s Wild Card. Alpha male, angst and passion, grief and hope, it has me on an emotional edge all way thru. Nathan Malone/Noah Blake and his lost wife Sabella break my heart and mend it with every page.

This year i loved reading the scottish series and kgi series. I just found the falcon mercenaries so i am finishing that up now :) i love most books lol i think i have read most of yours.
Hadn’t read any of her’s until my wife “discovered” her, and so far don’t have a favorite. These have definitely opened up the world of reading for her, so of course, I’d have to relinquish this to her, as a good hubby =)

The Sweet series had me so captivated that I couldnt wait to have my friends on board.Felt like the characters were my friends by the end! Then The cross-fire books at the end of the year have my fuel burning. You ladies are WONDERFUL!

I really like reading Echoes at Dawn & Shades of gray! I enjoyed reading Bared to you & Reflected in you by Sylvia Day, Gideon was one of my favorite characters. Shadow’s Claim by Kresley Cole was awesome.
I just finished reading Shades of Gray and I have to say this has been my favorite read for 2012!! I don’t think I’ve cried as much reading a book since reading Alaric & Keeley’s story in Seduction of a Highland Lass. Another one I really enjoyed was The Witness by Nora Roberts. Happy New Year!!!
I love your books. Love reading Texas authors since I am a Houston/Galveston girl. But I have really gotten into U.K. authors. Sadie Mathews and her After Dark Series was one of my favorite. Reading her led me to Kitty French with her Knight series and The Ivy Lessons by J.Lerman.
The KGI series is by far the best series I have read and Garrett being my favorite character.
My three favorite reads this year were Taking Chances by Molly McAdams, Thoughtless by SC Stephens and The Edge of Never by JA Redmerski. AWESOME books!!!

Okay, let’s see…favorite reads from 2012. Nauti Temptress by Lora Leigh, Gone Country by Lorelei James, Colters’ Daughter and Colters’ Promise by Maya Banks, Playing to Win by Jaci Burton, Stygian’s Honor by Lora Leigh, One Night Rodeo by Lorelei James, A Perfect Storm by Lori Foster, Bear Meets Girl and Howl for It by Shelly Laurenston, The Great Escape by Susan Elizabeth Phillips, and yes, even though it was difficult to get into initially, I stuck with 50 Shades of Grey Trilogy and can say that I did enjoy it. I expected much more out of if with all the hype but I would read it again (starting halfway through book one)

Oh, my gosh. There were so many great reads this year…Rapture by JR Ward; Shadow’s Claim by Kresley Cole; Sylvia Day’s Crossfire books; Everything that Gena Showalter writes. But i have to say that my absolute favourite scene is found in Echoes At Dawn…pg 178…when Rio teaches Grace to give him a blow job. Absolutely one of the hottest reads of the whole year. I am so looking forward to getting to the bookstore this week to get Shades of Gray. Thank You for the gifts that you share with all of us.

I have read so many great books this past year, from so many great authors like Lori Foster, Erin MCcarthy, Lara Adrian, Kresley Cole, Kerrelyn Sparks, J.R Ward, Maya Banks, and so many more. Finding one great book out of all of those authors was hard, but I would have to say that Softly at Sunrise By: Maya Banks was truly my favorite. I love the KGI series and can never wait for the next book to come out. In so many series you rarely ever get to read about how a couple is after their book ends. I loved to see that Rachel and Ethan truly did have a happy ending after all their heartbreak. I love all of Maya Banks books and would love to start another of her series.

This is my narrowed down list- shades of gray! Has to be my ultimate fav for the year! Also enjoyed secret sins and rough riders books of Lorelei James.
Can’t narrow down to just 1, Maya Banks of course, Samantha Towle, Samantha Young, Sylvia Day, Colleen Hoover, Carrie Ann Ryan, Melody Anne, Ruth Cardello and Brenda Jackson, and many others way to many for me to list, but this year these ladies have made me very happy with my reading material. Have been a big fan of yours for some time, so it was great reading all your new books and some that I did not have before.

Picking just a couple is impossible I tell you, IMPOSSIBLE. I picked up Sweet Surrender by you a couple weeks ago and read it last weekend. How did I miss this series! I now have the rest of the series on my kindle… I tend to mix up genres and bounce from contemporary to erotica to thriller/suspense.
I love reading the Sweet Series specially Sweet Addiction. I can’t wait to read Shades of Gray. Your the greatest.

Too many great reads in 2012, I loved Stygian’s Honor and the new Nauti book by Lora Leigh.

There is not a book out there of u that I has not read at least twice , please dont stop writing thank u for making great stories. And for some great fantasy that we are scare to give life to.
This year I’ve so many books it is hard to just pick 1 so I narrowed it down to my top three. I just finished Shades of gray with P.J. and Cole and I loved it thank you for a great read. They overcame do much. There was also Gena Showalter’s The Darkest Seduction with Paris finally getting his mate. It was a beautiful love story made much sweeter due to the fact that both him and Sienna had many obstacles to overcome to get their happily everafter. And J.R. Ward’s Lover Reborn which was Tohr’s story. After losing his mate and unborn son he finds love again. In the process he finally was able to lay to rest Wellsie and look forward to a brighter future despite the tragedies he had to face.
Love the KGI Series and the Colter Series.
I love the Colters series and Songbird which I have reread numerous times. I did read and enjoy 50 Shades of Grey. Lately I have been reading Around the World in 80 Men…great series.
I have three books. The first is Shades of Grey, every book I read from the KGI series I fall in love with that book. The second and third is a tie because I can not decided which I love more they are Secret Sins by Lora Leigh or Stygian’s Honor by Lora Leigh. I hope you have a Happy New Year.

I figure I’ve read a minimum of 300+ books this year! So, yeah, there have been a lot that I waited impatiently for for sure. I have to say that Heather Killough-Walden’s Dark Angel which just released was one of the tops. So, was the KGI series that released this year. Anything by Katie MacAlister and Molly Harper as well. The big one I’m waiting on for 2013 is Lover At Last by JR Ward! I think a lot of us have been waiting on that book LOL A new series that was recommended by my book club was by Kresley Cole, yeah read those in no time flat! OH, Darynda Jones was also recommended by the girls, LOVE the Graves series! I’m trying to think back to the beginning of the year … not working to well… LOL… by I absolutely loved your Highlander releases! and I also read the Colter’s series this year as well. Maya, I read a lot of books, so I usually have a favorite of the week LOL, but you are always at the top of the to be bought and read list! Love your writing. Hope you have a great start to 2013!!!

My favorite reads of this year have been Breaking Point by Pamela Clare, The Darkest Hour, and The Raft by S.A. Bodeen (young adult book that my son read too). The Raft was so unique that it pulled me in and I read the first 50 pages before pulling out of the library parking lot.

My favorite books this year have been the Rock Chick series by Kristen Ashley.
Haven’t been on Facebook much the last few days because my husband is having health issues and is in the hospital an hour away. Reading is my escape and helps me wind down from the stress of the day. Thanks for writing books that I LOVE!

Reading is such an adventure…..a person gets to live another life through written word…how powerful is that. I have read almost everything you have written. My taste in books is varied…Lora Leigh,Lori Foster,Sylvia Day,….too many to mention. Harleqiuns also present with good story lines. Now if i could just figure out how to read and knit at the same time. SO MANY THINGS TO MAKE AND SO LITTLE TIME TO MAKE THEM. SO MANY BOOKS TO READ AND SO LITTLE TIME TO READ THEM!!! LOL. GEEKAYBEE
So I’m relatively new to this genre of books. I read fifty shades in September because I was tired of everyone talking about it, and not having a clue. From that moment I was hooked. Since then I have read over 30 books. You and Shayla Black are my favorite authors by far. I’m still trying to read all of both of your books. It’s so hard to pick my favorites because I loved them all so much, but I will tell you out of the sweet series, sweet temptation sticks out the most to me. I loved that book for sure. Also I loved pillow talk. Of Shayla’s books my favorites were her fantasy men and decadent. And I have so many more books on my kindle to start! Thank you for all of your books, I have not one complaint!

My favorite books of 2012 were all of yours and I just discovered Sherrilyn Kenyon’s league series. Those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head. This year was an amazing book year, I can’t wait for the new books of 2013.

I have discovered I love everything by rl mathewson her hollywood hearts/her nbh series sudden response everything had been great. You will always be my fav. Love shades of gray it was a great addition to the series

I just discovered your books at the beginning of 2012 and absolutely love the Sweet series and the KGI series! Bought Shades of Gray as soon as it was available and can hardly wait to start reading it!
There were a lot of great books this year, but if I have to choose one it would be “Poison Princess” by Kresley Cole. I wasn’t expecting to love the book as much as I did. That’s why it’s my fav for 2012.
I absolutely loved reading the Zorn Warriors series from Laurann Dohner and Trista Ann Michaels’s Entwined Fates series. I don’t believe I can narrow down my favorite books of 2012. Its just so hard!!! I also loved loved your KGI series and the your Armstrong and Montgomery book. If I had to narrow it down, it would be “Never Seduce a Scot” I just loved their story and it really touched my heart!! I am so excited for RUSH and all your books to come!!

Whispers in the Dark has to be my favorite…Nathan and Shea are so intense…I cried…I couldn’t sit still…I was just so affected by their story. Especially when he first discovers her in the culvert and finds she us real…and their lovemaking…I am a nurse and thought I would need some nitroglycerin or something…sigh….
So any to choose from! I must say that I loved your KGI series and also Nalini Singh’s Guild Hunter series.

There’s no way I can pick just one; that’s like asking who someone’s favorite kid is!! But I’ll pick a couple at random-“Born to Darkness” by Suzanne Brockmann (it wasn’t my beloved TS series, but I loved it anyways!), “Biting Cold” by Chloe Neill (Merit and Ethan-’nuff said!) and of course your “Never Seduce a Scot” (made me cry at parts, but SO good!!!)
All of the KGI series, although I just finished Shades of Gray and it’s by far the best yet. The Darkest Hour would be my secon choice. Can’t wait for Forged in Steele.

I read at least a book a day. I don’t think I can pick a favorite! I don’t think I even remember all I read but I did discover new (to me) authors like you!
Anything by Nora Roberts.Her Inn at Boonsboro trilogy was awesome.
My favorite reads this year were Sarah Mayberry’s Hot Island Nights and Her Best Worst Mistake. I LOVED both of those books, but a few of her other titles were really good too. I just discovered her this year.
I can not narrow down my favorite book of the year. I do have some favorite series, the KGI Series, the Sweet Series, And I recently read Pillow Talk. Loved all of these books. As for other authors, I love to read Lori Foster (multiple series as well) and Jill Shalvis (Lucky Harbor Series). Thank you for such entertaining work and for being you. There are not that many authors that take the time to communicate with their readers. I know it is VERY time consuming. Off to read my pre-order of Shades of Gray!

There were so many favorites in 2012! I love your KGI series and can’t wait for Shades of Grey… I also loved Pamela Clares I TEAM series. Gena Showalters new series, Angels of the Dark was wicked cool!! But I think my all time favorite was “My Liege of Dark Haven”, by Cherise Sinclair.

I adored reading Never Seduce a Scot. It is a truly beautiful romance. I also enjoyed Curio, What I did for a Duke & Leave Me Breathless.

I am an avid reader, so picking out just ONE for the year is really tough.
Maya – I read all your books as soon as possible after they are released and anything in Sweet series is an automatic buy for me. Then there’s the KGI series and the historicals… nope – can’t do it – every time I try to pick a fave MB book for this year, I think of yet another one. Oh – and I am anxiously awaiting the release of Rush and the entire Breathless trilogy!
Other than MB books, I started reading the In Death series by J.D. Robb this year and love it! I also really enjoyed The Witness by Nora Roberts, On Dublin Street by Samantha Young, and One Dom to Love by Shayla Black, Jenna Jacob, and Isabella LaPearl.
Never Seduce a Scot: The Montgomerys and Armstrongs, Leave me Breathless by Cherrie Lynn and Sinners on Tour Series by Olivia Cunning.

I love the Kelly series..keep reading it over and over. Anything by Shelly Laurenston makes me laugh.
Totally loved Rio’s story and Rachel and Ethan’s novella. But by a different author, totally and utterly loved Coming Home by Marie Force and the Mitchell Series by Jennifer Foor.
I ADORE your KGI series, Pamela Clare’s ITeam Series, I loved Tina Reber’s Love Unscripted, and there are a few Christian Fiction titles that will never be archived on my Nook
If I must narrow it down to one I can only narrow it down to one series……KGI without a doubt. I read the entire series this year and even went back to read a second time. My very first book to read for 2013 will be KGI – Shades of Gray no questions about it……

I love absolutely everything you write, but my best read of 2012 has to be larissa ione. Her demonica series is awesome.
The book I had anticipated the most in 2012 was Lover Reborn by JR Ward and it truly exceeded my expectations.
I read so much it really is impossible to narrow down…However, I will put the ones I have read the most. I love Whispers in the Dark and Echoes at Dawn, I have read each one about 5 times. As well as Christine Feehan’s Dark Predator and Sarah Purcell’s Sealed with Blood. But the KGI series is definitely my new addiction! In fact, it’s the first – which means Shades of Grey!!! Whoo!
My all time favourite of 2012 has to be Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire and the Providence Series by her as well. I could never count out any of the KGI books!

Whispers in the Dark – The KGI series is a favourite and Shades of Grey just arrived on kindle so thats my veg out read for tomorrow – have finished my run of 7nights in ED – very busy time of year. Well 2012 was the year I discovered maya banks! I have loved discovering and reading your KGI series as well as your Scottish historicals!
After yours it would have to be me before you by jojo moyes! A heartbreaking story but one which touches all of us and makes you believe never give up. Really made me think about things a lot.
Then there was the 50 shades trilogy, that although is not well written it got me into reading erotic romance books and I’m now looking forward to reading Maya’s new trilogy in feb.

I love your highlander books! So far my favorite one is Alaric’s story, however Never Seduce a Scot comes really close. Both were very emotional reads. I can’t wait for Highlander Most Wanted.
This past year I started reading Kresely Cole’s IAD series and Sherrilyn Kenyon’s Dark Hunter series. I love both series and I don’t know if I could just pick one book that was my favorite.
I absolutely loved the KGI series. I have hubby running around town to find Shades of Gray.

It really is hard to choose just one, or two or any number. Each book I read has something to offer that I love! But the KGI series especially Whispers in the Dark. Chritine Feehan’s Dark Storm. And for non-fiction (I read a lot of military bio’s) I’d have to say Marcus Luttrell’s Lone Survivor and Service.

I just finished your Shades of Gray, and that’s definitely on my favorites list of the year! Very intense! I also loved Jaci Burton’s Playing to Win! After that, there’s just too many to name! But Never Seduce a Scot was very high on the list as well!
My favorite book of 2012 was The Fault in our Stars by John Green. It was emotional and a read that stuck with you a couple days after you read it.
I read Sweet Temptation and Sweet Addiction in 2012 and loved them. I am looking forward to the new release of the Sweet series.

The KGI series is my favorite. But I just got done reading a series by an author I hadn’t read anything from: Olivia Cunning her “Sinners on Tour” series. It was good also. My 9 month old was in the hospital for kidney failure ( and still is as we speak) each stay I brought the sweet series. I had to have read each one about 5 times but something about Micah and Angelina’s story spoke to me. The sweet series took my mind off of all the bad things going on around us. I also fell in love with Sylvia Day’s crossfire series and Seven Years to Sin. I want to just thank you for all those minutes your words kept me sane.

My Kindle is filled up with almost 900 books( one of the best gifts my son gave to me, still waiting for grandchild LOL) I re-read all my favorites. Happy New Year!!
I of course can’t narrow it down to one book but my top three is a little easier to do. LOL My absolute favorite was Iced by Karen Moning, next would be Echoes at Dawn :) and third is Black Moon by JD Tyler. :)

I have too many individual books to name so I’m going by a few authors I’ve read this year and loved: Shayla Black, Carly Phillips, Lori Foster, Linda Howard, and of course your books.
My most fav read of 2012? That’s a tough one! I loved the Boonesboro Inn trilogy by Nora Roberts! I found some great reads by Liliana Hart like the MacKenzies series and Susan Mallery added to her great Fool’s Gold series. At the end of the year (the 30th!), I found a sexy, funny read called Hypnotic Seduction by Laurie Kellogg. It’s so hard to pick just one!
okay I need to think about this one- I absolutely love the KGI SERIES love all of J.R Ward looking forward to Quin but I was introduced to two new authors Lara ADaire and Donna Grant and a lot more to list but those are the ones that really stick in my mind

I love every single one of your KGI series books and I just started the highlander series which will probably top my favorites for 2013. But I also loved reading the 50 Shades of Grey series and Crossfire series from Sylvia Day.
This year I ‘found’ Karen Rose & her Vartanian series. Thankfully I could get those & a few of your Highland books on audio – otherwise I’d never get any work around the house done.

I read a number of great reads this year, most are by new-to-me authors: On Dublin Street by Samanth Young, Easy by Tammara Webber, Wallbanger by Alice Clayton, Her Best Worst Mistake by Sarah Mayberry, Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins, Did You Miss Me? by Karen Rose and No One Left to Tell also by Karen Rose. Young, Webber Clayton, and Perkins are new-to-me authors and already I’ve re-read their books several times in 2012. I’m looking forward to more great books in 2013!
Gone Girl was my fave book of 2012….with all the twist and turns and rollercoaster of emotions I didn’t know what was next…I loved it!
There are way to many to choose from!! Well, yours are a given, of course!! I just began reading Shayla Black-and Mine to Hold is one of my favorites. I just finished Love Unscripted. It is a good read. But my favorite may be Darker After Midnight.

It’s not a romance, but Mr. Churchill’s Secretary, by Susan Elia Macneal, took me completely by surprise. A really well done Brit mystery set in WWII, it caught me up from page 1.
My favorite books that I read in 2012 was a series by Kaylea Cross (5 books starting with Out of Her League). Romantic suspense books, unpredictable and I fell in love with them. And of course Softly at Sunrise, the Kategan Series by T.A. Grey, and Act of Valor.
There were so many good books that came out in 2012 and they are too numerous to list. But some of my favorites were: Cherished and the Sweet Series by Maya Banks, The Doomsday Bretheren by Shayla Black, Perfect Storm and Run The Risk by Lori Foster and The Callahan and Breed Series by Lora Leigh.
Looking forward to 2013!

I distinctly remember buying your “Never Love a Highlander” on New Years Eve of 2011 and that was quickly one of my favorites. The passion between Caelen and Rionna seemed unmatched by the other McCabe brothers, and his reluctance to love set with great duty was angsty and wonderful. I also loved “Lothaire” by Kresley Cole (I follow that series religiously), “The Ugly Duchess” by Eloisa James, which was a new and sweet author find, and your “Sweet Temptation;” I agree with one of the earlier posts–there was something about Micah and Angelina’s story that set them apart from the other Sweet stories. Thank you for the chance to grab an early edition of “Rush” and can’t wait to read “Shades of Grey!”

I enjoy all of your books, but the Sweet series is my favorite! The first one hooked me, but Sweet Temptation was the one I go back to relisten to certain parts to get me romantic motor running. Thanks for the good reads!

Fav Books that is really hard, from Maya it is the KGI Series and I really loved Echos at Dawn
I would say that my favorite book of 2012 was Echos at Dawn.
I got into the entire KGI series in 2012. I loved how loyal and bad-ass the entire Kelley Clan was. These were good love stories, with great action and drama, but nothing over the top. As much as I liked all of them, I liked Sam’s story the best. No place to run was just such a good story. Sam was a great character, who met his match in Sophie, and everything just fell into place. That would have to be my favorite of 2012!!
I am going today to get the new KGI book. I am so excited. Some of my other 2012 favorites are Lore leigh’s Nauti Temptress. Lorelei James Gone Country, and Lauren Danes Tart. I cant wait for myah’s Highlander’s most wanted ( i was slightly disappointed when it was pushed back)but its ok cause i am excited about Push.
I read sooo many great books this year! I would have to say anything by you and Jill Shalvis were my favorites this year. I am always anticipating the next release by both of you! P.S. I spent all day yesterday reading Shades of Gray (and I finished it). It was so amazing!

My favorite book of 2012 by far was Who We Are by TJ Klune. It is the sequel to Bear, Otter, and the Kid. I also discovered the KGI series in 2012 and I had to rush to B&N and buy them all after reading the first because I loved the series. By the way I just finished Shades of Grey and it was beautiful.
I adore the KGI series…but I also like Pamela Clare’s ITeam Series, and put a little Judith Walker – series with the custom bike front and I am in suspense heaven

My favorites are all the KGI books. But my favorite guys are Nathan. I discovered the books by accident and have been addicted every since. I can’t wait to read the next insallment. I am just beginning the Sweet series but I know I will love these as well. You are a great writer!
While I love anything by J.D. Robb, Christine Feehan, Lora Leigh, Julie Garwood, Sarah McCarty or J.R. Ward, I have a soft spot for Nightfire by Lisa Marie Rice. The characters in her Protectors Series are some of my favorites and this book was just great.

I think my favorites of 2012 were Sweet Addiction because it introduced me to the Sweet series and Cherished because I was able to get two favorites for the price of one,lol. For me 2012 was really the year that I played catch up on all the Maya Banks, Lauren Dane and Megan Hart books I hadn’t read before.
I have read all of your books since july2012 that is when I got into reading any novels of any kind. I am pleased to tell you that I cringe every time now when I finish a book. Because I have nothing left of yours to read. I will read other authors such as shayla black and sylvia day. Can’t lie and say I don,t like there as. Much cause I do. But I think kgi series is my favorite was stumped between the sweet series as to whic one was my favorite.the sweet series I found hilarious as well as action. My favorite book so far though I think was Sam,s story and then but I can never really admit to which one i really love the most out loud. It is like I am betraying one of the team.lol I just love them all. Keep writing I wil keep promoting I promise. I have at least 6 friends into these novels since I started and I attend to get everyone’s I know into them as well. If anytime you are stuck on a story. I can give an opinion. I always wanted to write a book but I find myself not able to put it in writing. I tell my friend zone of these were going to make a movie because we are such a soapera kind of group. And if I had a wish it would be that all your books became a tv series. I can tell you know if people watch true blood . Which I love. They would most certainly love your series as well

I love all of the KGI and McCabe trilogy series. The Chase brothers by Lauren Dane is an excellent read. Other awesome authors are Bella Andre, Jennifer Ashley, Dana Marie Bell, Mari Carr/Jayne Rylon, Lora Leigh and Lorelei James. I reread all of these books until a new one comes out to keep my hopes up that my Alpha Male will someday show up.
I loved reading Iced by Karen Marie Moning. I also thaught Shades of Gray was the best KGI to date and looking forward to Steele’s book.

Some of my favorites that I read in 2012 were Laurann Dohner’s New Species Series, but I read ALOT so there are many favorites including your books, lol.
Favorite reads hmmm so many just finished Shades of Gray, Iced(Karen Marie Moning) and Kiss the Dead(Laurell K. Hamilton). Those are just off the top I am sure there are more because the last book I read usually is my favorite until I pick up the next book. Lol
Not including your books, since I think it goes without saying that they are always in my top 10 favorite books of the year, I finally read some series that I have been hearing raves about for quite awhile. The first was Karen Marie Moning’s Fever series. I had heard they were cliffhangers so I wanted to be able to read the whole bunch back to back to back. Therefore, I did and they were awesome. I also finally started Nalini Singh’s Psy-Changeling series and can now see why everyone raves about her. They just kept getting better and better. I read Shelley Laurenston’s latest “Bear Meets Girl” and it was just as good as the rest of her series. There were a lot of continuation books in series that I love from Kelley Armstrong, Carrie Vaughn & Iris Johansen which were all excellent. I could go on and on but these were some of my most favorite books of the year. Oh wait, lastly, there was one new to me author, J.A. Pitts with “Black Blade Blues” about a female blacksmith fighting dragons that was an excellent start to a new series.
My Favorite read of 2012 would probably be the Sweet Series. I read the first three books and i’m addicted. I love how they keep in the same town characters. The books are so sexy. I also loved the 50 Shades of Grey by E.L James. That’s how I found your books. I’s so glad there books to feed a females mind. :)

During 2012, I really got back into reading with the Fifty Shades of Grey by EL James. When I finished them, I was looking for something else and found the Sweet Series. I absolutely loved them. When I finished that series, I was looking for more and found the Colter Series. Also another good series. My husband got me the entire KGI series for Christmas. It is a toss up what book is the best but I have to say that I love the KGI series. I really hope that this series continues on for a while. I cant wait for Steele’s book in 2013 and for Rush. Keep up the great work and I have already told my husband that I would like to come see you at your event in Boonsboro, MD in April.

I usually stick with authors I love, Lora Leigh, Gena Showalter, Kresley Cole and Shayla Black. You have been something I have been reading recent. I love the KGI series. It brings tears to my eyes from what the women have suffered but they try to overcome. Fifty Shades of Gray caught me in the hype and have read all three in six days.
I discovered a lot of new authors this year you, Emma holly, Lauren Dane, and Sylvia Day. I think out of all these authors my favorite book of the year was Laid Bare by Lauren Dane. It was one of the first m/f/m erotica stories I have read. And it just made me realize love is love no matter what gender or race. Honorable mention Colters Women ( lord how mercy this was so hot, this was the book that started my erotica journey so thank you ).
I really enjoyed Whispers in the Dark. By picking this book up without knowing anything about the series, I was drawn into the KGI series and then into the Sweet series and then Highlanders. Still discovering more of your books and enjoying them. I’m going to reread the KGI series before I read my new copy of Shades of Gray!

Oh my gosh I’ve done a lot of reading in the last year. My friend & I go to lunch everyday which means I’ve read her ebooks that I don’t know the titles/authors. But I have read about all the McCabe’s, Coulter’s, Sweet series, Men out of Uniform, Cherished and of course the KGI series.
Can’t forget the Fifty Shades trilogy. My friend read the 2nd & 3rd book several times. For her birthday I bought her favorite bottle of wine and tied a grey to it. She loved it!

Read Fifty shades and the crossfire books loved them. But read the Coulter books and just was so involved with them forgot all else!! I wanted to be their woman!! Also read the first in the sweet series and am soon getting the rest!! Love your work and thanks so much! My hubby thanks you too ;)
My favourite reads this year haveto be the first book in the new highland trilogy and the new book in monette michaels prime series.

My favorite reads this year were all the KGI series (especially Shades of Gray). I have also really enjoyed finding a couple new authors: The Deadly Trilogy by Alexa Grace, The Fatal Series by Marie Force, Secret Sins by Lora Leigh, Heated Match by Lynne Silver. I have read many more, but again my favorites this year have been the KGI series!
I discovered your Colter series in the beginning of the year when I downloaded whatever free books I could find by my favorite authors for my new nook.
After reading, I fell in love and immediately had to buy the rest of the series. It has become one of my goto’s when I need a pick me up. I have read the whole series probably at least five times since then. Plus I will pull out at least one to read part of every month. CAN’T WAIT for the new book.

Other reads in 2012… 50 Shades Trilogy, Crossfire Series, Shayla Blacks Wicked series, Lauren Dane’s Brown siblings series and now the spinoff (which is how I hooked up with Cherish)… But one of my favs has to be (for me) the unexpected Nightwalker series by Jacquelyn Frank.

I’ve read a lot of books in the past year by a lot of great authors including you. Christine Feehan’s Spirit Bound, Lora Leigh’s latest Breed book and all of her Sins series so far, also liked Bella Andre’s latest of the Sullivan series, and Lorelie James Rough Riders series latest Gone Country. But I can honestly tell you that I recently finished Shades of Gray and no book has ever had me that emotional. It made me feel everything as if I were PJ or Cole from scared and helpless, to pissed off wanting revenge, to healing and love. Although it was hard to read through, I could not put it down for wanting to see what happened next. I’ve never in my life been a reader, but I love it now and how it gives me confidence to not be afraid of taking chances. I love all of your books, keep up the great work!

I have to say I truly loved Softly at Sunrise it was a wonderful follow up for Ethan and Rachel also I am a fan of Kresley Cole and Lothaire and Shadow’s Claim were great and Eve Langlais series Freakn Shifters was hilarious.
I’m an avid romance reader, but this year my favorite book was non-fiction, Let’s Pretend This Never Happened by Jenny Lawson. I love emotional reads, and one of the reasons I love romance novels is for the occasional tear that creeps down my face while I’m reading. But Ms. Lawson caused tears of laughter to stream down my face, and that’s just as good!

I’ve read and loved the added additions to The Fatal Affair series and the McCarthy’s of Gansett Island series by Marie Force. Jill Shalvis added to her Lucky Harbor Series and her Animal Magnetism series. Bella Andre added to her Sullivans series and Lorelei James added to her Rough Riders series.
All books I couldn’t wait for and once I started reading couldn’t put down. I know there are other books I read and loved but those along with you are my top Authors.
Read all the JR Ward BDB books and all Cherise Sinclair books in 2012 loved them. I also read all the KGI books and just finished Shades of Gray I loved, loved, loved PJ and Cole.
I have read so many books this year. By far my favorite book was Seduction of a Highlass Lass. This book made me laugh and cry. The best part of the book was when Keely stepped in front of Alaric to take the arrow. To love someone like that is the greatest treasure of all.
I got back into reading in 2012, thanks to Fifty Shades of Grey! I bought the trilogy & was hooked….

I LOVED the Sweet series. I got so caught up in reading them back to back after I was done the characters were almost real to me. Wanted to be one of the woman but liked all of them.

I discovered the KGI series this year and it is by far my favorite books of the year but the series is my favorite of all time. My favorite book to date is Whispers in the Dark, but I love every single one of them. Shades of Grey was by far the most emotional to read and kudos to a job well done on the way you wrote the story. When I feel the emotion of the characters as I am reading I know the author has written a hell of a story and I felt everything in that book. You are truly gifted Maya!

My favorite reads for 2012 were the KGI series and the Scottish series. I love the KGI series because the characters are all so intriguing. So much so that one cannot wait to read their stories. The familial relationships within the teams and of course the Kelly’s is soooo amazing.
I loved the Scottish series because I love the way that you develop the characters as well and the stories just flow and engrossed me so much.

I’ve just recently discovered Sherrilyn Kenyon’s Dark-Hunter Series. I know I’m really behind but there are so many more authors I’m trying to keep up with as well. I’d say my favourite book so far in the series has been Acheron. But I don’t think I’m gonna read it ever again. I cried throughout Part 1 of the book. I’m emotionally exhausted. I’m just glad he got his HEA though.
My fave read by you last year is Never Seduce a Scot. It was such a sweet and sensual story. Now this is the sort of romance I love to read.

Have read many books during 2012 and there are several that sticks out. Motorcycle Man by Kristen Ashley by far is my very favorite. Your Highlander and KGI series are to die for. Cross Fire by Slyvia Day and any romance with cowboys takes my breathe away. SWOON

I would have to say my favorite book gas been KGI Shades of Grey. Even though it was much darker than i normally read, i loved both characters and of course catching up with all the KGI. It is so hard to narrow what my “favorite read” was of 2012, because there were so many. However, I would have to say your book “Wanted By Her Lost Love”, (however, entire series of Pregnancy & Passion is great). Another series that is a constant re-read for me is your entire Colter Series. Colters Promise was excellent… can’t wait for the next Book in the Colters Series.

God, I love all your books. I just came across you in September and have now read every book you have published. I can’t say I have a favorite of your book as I loved them all. I so fell in love with Colters, and the Kelly family. As I just finished Shades of Grey book, I am going to go back and start reading all your books again. It’s great to have an ereader. I know it is impossible, but I would love to have a new book from you each week. Not only are you a fantastic writer, but your stories tug at the heart of everyone. You can almost feel that you are there in the story. I can’t wait for the release of Rush, and I am so looking forward to Steele’s story. He is such an enigma. You wanted to cry for him as he tried to comfort P.J., as much as Cole was hurting so was Steele and his whole team.
Another writer I love is Cherise Sinclair. You two are my favorites, and I will read and re-read your books often.

Found your Scottish historicals last year and I really enjoyed those, especially the last in the series. I’ve started finding your contemporaries and enjoy them for short escapes! Other favorite authors are Jennifer Ashley, Eileen Wilks, Patricia Briggs and Janet Chapman on the paranormal side and Stephanie Laurens, Sabrina Jeffries, Jayne Ann Krentz, Catherine Coulter, Elizabeth Lowell, Patricia Brockman and Johanna Lindsey.
I read a lot of books in 2012, but I had lots of fun reading the Carol Lynne Cattle Valley Series, my favorite story in the series is book 27 ALONE IN A CROWD.

I also re-read the older books by Julie Garwood, Nora Roberts, Stephanie Laurens, Julia Quinn etc which was a great deal of fun.

I am a Nigerian and I have been reading your books for quite some time now. My favorite Maya Banks book of last year without a doubt and with all certainty was ‘Never Seduce a Scot’.
For some reason I found this book to be very romantic, touching and emotional. The minute I finished reading it (which I did in about 5-6 hours nonstop) I came to your website an left a comment and this book reaffirmed why it is that I love your work soo much.
Anyways, regardless of if I win this contest, I will still buy RUSH because the excerpt is just SOO DAMN SEXY!!!!!

So hard to pick. I just started reading Maya banks and Pamela Clare books in 2012. You two have become my fav author’s. The kgi books are great I have read them re-read and read them again. Nathans book had me in tears. But never seduce a scot just had that something special and different that other historicals has never had. That has to be my fav.
Favorite book of 2012 I have to maya banks- sweet series. I got all the girls I work with reading them… My books and falling apart from soo much use lol and I really enjoy The wicked series by Shayla Black. Happy New Years :)
Maya I have so many authors that I read in 2012 that it is so hard to pick. I will tell you mines of 2012. It is so many so here we go.
First, it is you. Whispers in the Dark and Echoes at Dawn was my most favorite Kelly/KGI novels. I loved that one sister had telepathic abilities and the other had the abilities to heal and the men they got with can communicate with each other through their minds.
Second it will have to be Lora Leigh. She bought back my Nauti series that I so love. It was so surprise that Dawg had four sisters that he did not know anything about. The couple in this book was fire hot just like the old Nauti books. Her other book Deadly Sins. Archer and Anna was a great couple and in the end to find out that the sister that Crowley loved and that he thought had died with his parents to be alive and thought to be his cousin all this time was the most shocking in the book. Can’t wait for the last one.

I enjoy the KGI series probably the best because of the family ties and the looking out for one another. I know you said favorite book. I loved a lot of books for different reasons. Some made me laugh some made me cry. Some made me laugh and cry:) So I am giving you the authors of those books. Nora Roberts, Lora Leigh, Maya Banks, and Lorelei James. That is just a few that made 2012 a great year.

Maya, you have truly captured my readers heart so much I find it hard to describe. I have read all of your KGI novels with so much enthusiasm…and many sleepless nights, my husband thinks I’m losing it. Needing something to get me through the wait for Shades of Gray, I turned to the Highlander series with scepticism. I have never been a fan of historical, but you sucked me in and I read them ALL over the holidays. You have opened my eyes to reading adventures I didn’t think I would take and I thank you for that!! After purchasing the Sweet Series in print(and speeding through them) I bought a kindle in the early summer months. I have to say I have devoured all of your literature available to be purchased online and my favorites(if forced to choose) would be the books of the Colter series!

I loved quite a bit of books, but I will say that one that I was not anticipating was On Dublin Street by Samantha Young. It was recommended on a GR group page and by my best friend, and I must say, it was very memorable and very good. I’m now anticipating the next one!! :)

I started reading the Sweet Series this last year and fell in love. I am also a big fan of the KGI novels. A new author that I got into was Kathreen Brooks and her Bluegrass Series. It is pretty calm, but a still fun read.

It’s so hard to narrow it down. I read a lot in 2012. I have read the Sweet series, Colters’ series and then there is Mary B Morrison, Sherrilyn Kenyon and Carl Weber books. Too many titles to list. I really enjoy reading.

My favorite book of 2012 is a hard question, since I probably read about 4-5 books a week, but some of my favorites this past year were Nauti Temptress by Lora Leigh, Their Virgin Concubine by Lexi Blake and Shayla Black, Tiger by Laurann Dohner, and Shades of Gray by you!! :) Shades of Gray was definitely a great way to end a good year of reading. Please keep writing like you do. I love it and cannot get enough.

I was going though some web sites to look up some new books to read and I came across two books ..Emma Holly ..Devil at Night and one of your books Sweet Temptation now I have never read one of these books at the time I found them so good I went out and got as many as I could find from the Library.Thanks for the great books

Day), and KGI Series (no need to say who wrote that)…Garrett is my favorite in this series. Enjoy 2013..
The best book I read was definitely Shades of Gray!!!! I was so excited to read it that I stayed up until 1 AM on Dec 31st to buy it on iBooks! It was a good end to the year and I’m sooo excited to read Forged in Steele in a few months!
I loved The Mistress the story of Marley & Chrysander It was a very emotional ride.
It’s difficult to narrow down to a few. I love the KGI series and Elle Kennedy’s Out of Uniform books. For a change of pace I like James Rollins and Matthew Reilly.
I LOVED the KGI Series!!! Hidden Away was my favorite … only because i wish Garrett was real ;)

My fav book of the year would have to be Never Seduce A Scot. Not only was it an amazing story in its own right. It has a female lead who was not perfect, but so strong and beautiful. It featured a male lead that looked beyond what the wold saw to the women beneath.
It was so nice to read a book that had these features as well as a beautiful love story.

My favorites from 2012 is the Sweet Series ( by you of course), Club Shadowlands Series By Cherise Sinclair, The Crossfire Series (Bared To You & Reflected in You)by Sylvia Day,The Original Sinners Series (The Siren, The Angel, & The Prince) by Tiffany Reisz, Gabriels Inferno & Gabriels Rapture By Sylvain Reynard, Crows Rows by Julie Hockley & Boycotts & Barflies by Victoria Michaels. The list could go one , but these are the ones I recommend the most and have read more than once , and will read again.

I love the Sweet Series (read them in two weeks) but my all-time favorite is the Highlander Series, especially Seduction of a Highland Lass. By the end of the book I was tearing up and that for me never happens. I am excited to see a new book for March 25th “Highland Ever After”. The only con is that I have to wait so long to buy it!!
