Ok, Maya. Here it goes; my review of Sweet Seduction. I was lucky enough to win an ARC of this awesome book in Maya’s giveaway in September.
This is an beautiful book about two wonderful people who just cannot figure out how to get the other one to notice each other. Julie seduces Nathan and then drops him on his butt, since she wants him to know what he is going to be missing since he has not noticed her. Then she goes to Damon and has him set up a couple of hot nights for her and two “lucky” friends.
Nathan is besides himself. No way he wants Julie with another guy(s) besides himself. Micah tells him to chill out, no big deal, and he helps him out. Here is were the real fun starts. Nathan gets her good, but when she finds out, Julie does not get mad, maybe a bit at first, she gets even.
She one ups him again and by this time Nathan is on the brink of maddness. In the end, they finally stop chasing each other, admit what they are feeling and Nathan finally gets what he has always wanted.
In between all of this, we find Faith and Gray, dealing with a crisis of their own; Damon and Serena, still trying to find their way in their relationship and Micah, who is in the middle of everything and of course, commenting as only he does so well. Also, we are given a stunning revelation of Micah’s past and we are introduced to the one who will take him down, Angelina. Even Conner will play a role in it all.
This is a well written, fast paced book with a lot of stuff going on in it. It took three reads for me to take it all in, but make no mistake, this is the best book of this series so far.
