Hate when that happens + short hiatus

so I’ve been writing along on Ethan and Rachel’s story. Only last night I realize that the last 30 pages or so have to go. Away. As in they’re all sorts of fucked up and I have to rewrite them completely. I can barely contain my enthusiasm. :cursesign:

So yeah, I’ve got a lot written today. Too bad it’s not progress and it’s just me fixing what I screwed up to begin with. So in essence I lost a bitchload of time that I can’t afford to lose.

To that end, I’m going underground for the next two weeks. I’m hoping by the end of the month I’ll have blazed through a good portion of this story so that September can be spent figuring out if it makes any sense. :headscratch:

Try not to have too much fun without me…

Hey Maya just read Coulters Woman and stayed up until 3:30 this morning reading Brazen-OMG I am hooked. Now to go broke buying the rest of your books :-)
How long does it take for a book of yours to go to print after being released in e-book form?
    Thanks for the GREAT BOOKS!

Hi Kelley! So glad you enjoyed Colters and Brazen :) As for when my books go to print, it depends on the publisher. For my Berkley books, those are released simultaneously in print and ebook. Same for my Silhouette Desires.

For those books published with Samhain, the usual length is 10 months after the release of the ebook. Provided it meets the word count criteria. For ebooks 50k words or longer, or for shorter works included in a print anthology, those will be released in print format 10 months after the ebook release (usually)

    clear as mud? hehe

    Maya,
Thanks for the info.I prefer books in print but I will get them in e-form if I can’t get them in print soon enough.
I have a bit of a problem, when I find a new author I have to have EVERYTHING they’ve written.Hubby says if I add one more book to my TBR pile he’s shipping me off to the kids room because there won’t be enough room- I say he goes the books and I stay!
    P.S. Love the site!
