Ok guys, here’s the deal. I love my readers. Adore you guys. And you’ve all been so wonderful to me. So I wanted to do something in return. A kind of a “I love you to pieces and thank you” pressie :)
Normally ARCs go out to reviewers, bloggers, review sites etc ahead of the release date of a book. But I wanted to do something special this time. I wanted to give the readers who don’t normally get a chance to receive these early copies a chance to get their hands on one. So here’s what I’m going to do.
I’m going to give away ARCs of Sweet Addiction. I have 38 left, and I’m going to give them away here and on twitter.
A few details to get out of the way. I’ll give away 20 copies for this specific blog giveaway. I’m going to leave the contest open for an entire week to give as many people as chance to enter as possible. You MUST check back to see if you win. I won’t go looking for you if you don’t email me with your mailing address. You have to claim your prize or else it’ll be given to someone else. Don’t worry, I’ll give you a few days to claim it.
Also, these ARCs will be mailed out at the first of MARCH. I’m doing the giveaway now but it’s because I need names and addresses well ahead of time because my publicist is on vacation for some of February and I want to make sure she has everything she needs so that she can mail the books when she returns. So I’ll post the giveaway now. I’ll leave it open until Saturday or Sunday January 28th or 29th (I’m leaving myself the weekend because I’ll get busy and I’ll totally forget) So start checking back that weekend and I’ll give you a few days into the next week to email me.
There are no conditions for receiving an ARC. You don’t have to be a reviewer or blogger or anything but someone who wants a chance to read the book early :) It’s yours to do with what you want. You can use it to start a fire or you can let your dog chew on it. Totally up to you.

Hey Maya, as you know I love the whole sweet series but if i had to choose one book I would have to say Sweet Seduction. I am totally in love with the passage when Serena proposes to Damon! Also love when Nathan goes all caveman on Julie and drags her out of Damon’s house over his shoulder. You gave us the best group of charactors ever and cant wait for whatever you have to give us.
My favorite in the series is Sweet Seduction. I love Julie and Nathan’s relationship. Sure Nathan is a bit dense at times,(a bit, please Julie had to spell it out for him), but I love his protectiveness, and his tenderness. Plus who wouldn’t want to be in between a Nathan Micah sandwich?!

Sweet Surrender is my favorite so far but I have enjoyed all of them. I am reading Whispers in the Dark now and so far it is great.
I honestly havent read any as yet, Ive just finished your McCabe Brothers Highlander Trilogy and absolutely loved them, so sad that they are over but well satisfied with the 3 of them especially the second one my favourite. I am now on the look out for your whole collection.

Maya, while I have not yet read any of the Sweet series, I have read all the Colter series and LOVE them! That said, Colter’s Woman is one of my all time fave erotic romance books. So much so, that after reading it so many times and smudging the edges od the pages, I gave that copy to my daughter and got the ebook for my Nook! Another I need to replace soon is Be With Me. That is pretty much tied for number one with Colter’s Woman. Again, I have smudged the pages I have read it so much!

I am sorry to say that I haven’t read any books from your Sweet Series but they will be added to my TBR list. My favorite erotic romance series that I have found so far(this is a new genre for me) is The Brown Siblings by Lauren Dane! I also like Jo Davis’ Firefighters of Station Five series!

Sweet Persuasion of course! I really like the characters of Damon and Serena. They are SO in love! I have two friends like them (well, they have a house not a House) and its just really ooey gooey fun to watch them. I would just like to say that I love your books. They are such a wonderful pleasure and an escape from reality for a little while. My favorite Sweet book is Sweet Persuasion with Serena and Damon. The dynamic of their relationship is astounding and so very complex that I have to say the book was devoured within a few hours. It is still a book I go back to again and again when I need encouragement and to have a little hope that dreams really do come true. Thank you so much!

I liked all of the sweet books…but I must say, Damon and Serena’s story was the first to make me gasp and wonder “oh man, you’re kidding me…people DO that stuff??? But in a good way of course! Overcoming personal nature to get to the underlying release of control was a phenomenal aspect of the story for me…keep ’em coming! :)

I’m a relativly new in erotic romance. I read some books from Bertrice Small, than I heard about your novels. I loved them. (I hope I will get the Highlander trilogy soon. *fingers cross*) And my newest discovery is Jaci Burton’s Play-by-Play series.
The Sweet book that repeatedly comes to mind is Sweet Possession. I often find myself thinking of the seen when all the women are naked in the pool and find myself smiling or laughing out loud.
Between the Sweet series and the KGI series I cannot pick a favourite. I am also a big fan of the Colters series and will be rereading Women and Lady before Daughter comes out just so I am familiar since its taken forever for Daughter to get here.

I haven’t read the Sweet Series yet, but I am DYING to! With that being said, I have to tell you (at the risk of sounding like I’m kissing up), right now my favorite romance is…wait for it…Seduction of a Highland Lass. No, really. I keep picking it up and reading it over and over. Before I read it I would have to say that my favorite romance was “Mixed Blessings” by Tracy Sinclair. It was the very first romance I ever read. I still have it(somewhere).
I read it when I was 14 years old and have been hooked on romances ever since. I even did a book report on it! But I digress. Alaric reminds me of my husband. That book makes me sigh A LOT! :)

Thank you Maya for some fantastic reading. I am slowly working my way through your books and have to say that the Colters are my favourite. I have a tendancy to reread books that I thoroughly enjoy which slows me down but no doubt will get to read them all.
I haven’t read any of the Sweet series but it sounds like I need to! I think one of my favorite erotic romances is from what I would call “the old school romances”. Kathleen Woodiwiess (I probably butchered her name and I apologize) is one of my favorites. They leave some things to the imagination and what’s better when reading the juicy parts than letting your own imagination run wild? Don’t get me wrong, I love a good explicit erotic romance too.

Ohh my do I really have to choose a favorite. I have read the sweet series so many times. I love the characters. I laugh so much, the girls remind me of my friends , Julie is my favorite. I love all the books but Serena booked stood out a little more, because I truly love Domon. So I would say there book is the best. Even though I love Micah, I honestly love them all, hands down a great series. Ohh by the way love the Colter’s books, especially Meadows.,

Hmmm, I really love Julie & Nathan… but I think I *have* to go with Serena & Damon. Loved the beach house scene at the end. Maybe I’ll reread that tomorrow!
I would have to say my favorite is Micah and Angelina’s story. Micah just makes me want to hug him . Angelina is a patient women something I am not sure i could be. . I simple adore them !

Hmmm…..Decisions decisions. For me it’s a toss up between Sweet Seduction, I just love Julie and Nathan Or Sweet Temptation, yes in certain parts it was hard to read, but I just love love love Angel and Micah.

My favorite “Sweet” book was “Sweet Possession”! I love, love, love Connor and Lyric and how it tied everyone together. I also loved Nathan and Julie’s story.

My favorite has to be the first. This was my introduction to your books and my introduction to erotic romance. That book has more memories attached to it than just the story. It has my daughter wondering if her father knew what type of books her mother was reading. It had my husband laughing about me taking smut into the Menonite/Amish community I work in. Yes, that’s my favorite for so many reason including how well it was written.

Ok Maya, I can NOT pick a favorite!!! Every one I read becomes my favorite for that character! I end up reading it in a few hours the day it is published, then go back a few days later and re-read a little slower. I wait and wait for the next one to be published and the closer that the next release date comes, my poor husband has to listen to me say (almost daily) “my book comes out in ___ days! Aren’t you excited?! I am!!” So thanks for ALL of your stories! And please keep them coming! I haven’t read a thing from you that I don’t love!

Sweet Seduction is my favorite book out of the whole series so far, though that’s not to say that I don’t like the rest of them. I love them too! lol I love it because Julie keeps Nathan going in circles for so long; it’s great! Julie and I are a lot alike personality wise so I can definitely identify with her and dream of Nathan. lol
Hands down Sweet Persuasion (Sweet Series #2) is my favorite in the series. Swoons for Damon and I lovers Serena.

Ok Maya, this is kind of hard!! Out of the Sweet Series, I would have to say Sweet Seduction. Why? I see a lot of myself in Julie. I’m not as short as her, but I am totally fiesty and sassy just like her :o) I totally love Nathan’s character too. Maybe because I’m from Texas and many of “our” men are like him! If it wasn’t for this book, I would have chosen Sweet Surrender…I’m a cop in the Metroplex area, and it’s a shame the guys I work with are not like Gray! lol If you ever make Sweet Seduction into a movie, I will totally play Julie for free.. lol Call me ;o)

Sweet Persuasion is my favorite followed closely by Sweet Temptation. Damon is the epitome of Dominant and his a Serena’s story was so engaging. But how can you not love the tortured Micah. The scene where Angelina clandestinely whipped him in the prologue totally did it for me.
I can’t wait to read Cam’s story. I have been anticipating it since I finished Sweet Seduction. How he connected with Julie made me fall for him.

My favorite story is Serena and Damon’s but I love all the scenes in the books where all the girls get together for their girls night. It is always a great laugh. Drunk on the floor at Cattleman’s is a classic. The best part of the series is the continuation of everyone’s lives from one book to the next. It is truly like visiting old friends everytime!!!
I haven’t made it through the entire series yet, but so far Sweet Surrender is my favorite.

Totally lame and boring but I can not pick a favorite of any of the Sweet Series. Each book was unique in it’s own way so it’s too hard to pick a favorite. But, if I absolutely had no choice but to take one book from this series with me to be stranded on an island I would have to say the first book in the series Sweet Surrender. Gray and Faith just melt my time every time I re-read it.

I just re-read Sweet Seduction (Julie&Nathan) as well as Sweet Persuasion (Serena&Damon) and if I was forced to choose among them all I would say Sweet Persuasion or Sweet Temptation (Micah&Angelina). This series is so amazing I often find myself pulling it off the shelf and rereading just for the hell of it cuz its that good!

I adore sweet persuasion. I’ve read every book in the series multiple times but that is the one I never get enough of. I just love Serena and Damon’s story. My other favorite non sweet book is colter’s woman. It was the first book of yours I’ve read and opened the flood gates of having to own every book you have written hahaha.

Sweet Temptation was my favorite. It depicted Micah’s pain relentless self punishment that it had me in tears. I have thoroughly enjoyed all of your books but this one touched a chord deep inside and stole it’s way into my heart.

I was lucky enough to stumble upon this series last April, when the first 5 books were all out. I fell in loooove with Micah book 1! I would have DIED if I’d had to wait for his story…..as it was, it only took me 2 days. SWEET TEMPTATION ALL THE WAY!!!

Sweet Persuasion and Sweet Temptation were by absolute favorites in this series! I loved Serena and Damon and how their story evolved! I liked that he was able to bring out exactly what Serena had been looking for, but wasn’t quite sure she should want. I also enjoyed reading about the relationship between Micah and Angelina. I liked how he was able to overcome his past and that Angelina understood him so completely and patiently guided him through all of his emotional ups and downs! Truly a great series!!!!!

i love sweet surrender the most. i love how she knows what she wants. the fact that she went looking for it and didnt wait for something to just happen. I especially like that she was willing to go to the house and try to find what she wanted and then woman enough to understand what she didnt want. it was a great story.

I started reading Maya’s books with the Sweet Series couple months ago. I had a hard time finding the second book, Sweet Surrender, of sweet series so I started with the second book, Sweet Persuasion. Despite all of the Sweet Series being fantastic reads I must say that Sweet Persuasion was my fav thus far and had me hooked from page 1. Serena is alittle firecracker that allowed herself what she thought she never wanted but acutely always secretly desired….Damon. From page 1 to the end Sweet Persuasion was memorizing. ;)
My favorite Sweet book would have to be “Sweet Seduction”. I loved Nathan and Julie’s story! Such a great couple!

Julie, all woman and she soooo knew herself and what she wanted. Nathan so clueless at times but all MAN. And he was soooo in trouble from the start. However, if I am going to be honest my favorite series is the KGI series!! have loved every single one of these books. Your ability to create this family that is so believable, that they could be living down the street form me is incredible! I have pre-ordered every single book in this series. Please, please, and please write Rusty’s story! I just feel like the series will not be complete if her story isn’t told.

The pool scene in Sweet Possession had me laughing to the point of tears, but Id have to say Sweet Seduction is my fav. book! Julie is the ultimate girl. She’s funny, strait forward, and always there for her friends. I wish I had a friend like her. And Nathan who couldn’t love a man willing to do anything for the woman he loves!

Faith is a fabulous heroine with a steel backbone all packaged up in sweetness. I also like Julie’s feistiness and Angelina’s butt-kickin drive. All your books are great. Serena’s character gave me chills. The way she opens herself to him was so raw and heartfelt and it made my heart race because the things she confessed she wanted are so much the same as things I desire in my life. Her character was also relate-able and absolutely likeable. The way they connected was also so amazing. I only hope to have an ending as beautiful as theirs.

First I wanted to say, I enjoy reading your book. Fan obviously… but the thing about your books is that it pulls you in. Like a movie, you watch it and become part of it. Here you read it and become part of that world. In that moment you forget everything else and you are there. I discovered the Sweet Series a couple of months back, and I read them all really quick. I haven’t read the sweet series–yet. I have read all the other series’ and books I can find by you and I love them all. The Colter series is on of my favorites

Maya, We met at RAW 2 years ago when I was helping Lora and at Lora Leigh’s book club in Hagerstown Maryland. You were great guest and we enjoyed having you both times. I had to move from that area but it was great to see writers willing to meet with their reader’s and be so open and friendly. I hope to see you again at another event elsewhere. I think I have loved every Sweet Series books so far, hard to pick fav. – Sweet Seduction. I know one thing, they are HOT! At the bookclub, you turned me on to your Highlander’s and then I moved on to KGI- loved the new Whispers in the Dark. I told you to your face but I really do think your a great writer. I love the sex stuff but you put a story to it and make it seem like we are right there and we could know these people. Keep up the great work. It has be tough being a mom, a wife, a lover, a friend and a writer that has the great stories in your head trying to get out. We, your fans, appreciate your hard work.

I just finished the Highlander series and absolutely loved it! I can’t wait to start the Sweet series! I loved Never Love A Highlander because Caelen is so rough on the exterior but tender on the inside. I also love that he will take Rionna every morning just to claim her and make her his own. Keep it up! <3

My Favorite book from the Sweet Series would have to be Sweet Temptation with Sweet Persuasion as a very close second. More often than not I tend to prefer the hero to the heroine in romance stories, but in Sweet Temptation, Angel won my heart. Most stories that I read the heroine is really hesitant to get involved or they’re kind of introverted or just not interested, but I loved how Angel put herself out there, that she wasn’t afraid to take a chance on what she wanted. I think people need be more like that because to many times a life is ended without being lived.
I am a new reader but love the books i have read. i loved the KGI books and colters legacy book. i will definately be reading more of Maya Banks.
I can’t wait for Cole’s story but for now I just keep re-reading Nathan and Micah – Sweet Seduction and Sweet Temptation.
The Sweet Series is near the top of TBR list, below the rest of the Scot books. Unfortunately, I don’t have much time for pleasure reading.

I became a fan of your books last year when I started reading the Sweet Series. So far my fave is the first book, Sweet Surrender. You never know though, that might change with the next one! I’ve enjoyed every book!

I have adored all of the books written by MAYA BANKS. She is one of the only authors that I own hardcopies of all of the books so far. I always have a wonderful feeling upon completion of anything that she writes especially these books. I was just on the internet earlier to see when her next publication would be released.
